United Way
ONEOK employees organize annual campaigns across the company to support the United Way. With employee pledges, matching funds and special event fundraising, ONEOK and its employees have contributed more than $22 million since 1997.
In 2010, employees pledged $1,165,372 and collectively, $2,330,774 was contributed to United Way organizations.
The 2010 campaigns exceeded the national statistics with 78 percent of employee participation and an average contribution of $295 per person, compared to the national average of 25 percent of participation with an average contribution of $70 per person.
Company retiree contributions were also matched in 2010 and exceeded $57,000.
