Making a Difference in the Communities We Serve

Good corporate citizenship involves much more than the outlay of cash contributions - it requires a constant, caring presence and a commitment to do everything within your means to help those in need. The management and employees of Kansas Gas Service feel a strong sense of duty to the communities we serve and lend a helping hand in many ways.

Kansas Gas Service and the ONEOK Foundation invest its charitable contributions in programs that enhance quality of life and economic well-being in the communities where we serve. In addition to this financial support, Kansas Gas Service employees provide invaluable volunteer support to countless charitable organizations and events. Company executives and employees also serve on boards and committees for hundreds of non-profit agencies.

It's all part of our ongoing commitment to make our communities better places to live. We're helping make a difference through our employees, and through financial assistance, through special community programs and events that enrich the lives of all Kansans.

Gift of Warmth
Gift of Warmth is designed to help Kansas families needing assistance in paying their winter heating bills. To contribute, you may designate a fixed amount each month or request that we round up your monthly bill to the next whole dollar. Either option will automatically add a fixed Gift of Warmth contribution to your Kansas Gas Service billing statement. Or, you can include an additional amount along with your bill payment and check the box on your billing statement. Contributions may also be made directly to The Salvation Army. The Salvation Army will distribute contributions to qualifying families ~ regardless of what fuel is used to generate the warmth.

For more information call us at 1-800-794-4780. Or contact The Salvation Army at 1-877-566-2769, Ext. 402.

Volunteers With Energy
This program provides a structure that allows groups of Kansas Gas Service employees to organize and select the volunteer projects that are important to them. Employees form Volunteers with Energy committees to approve and maintain a calendar of events, communicate with all Kansas Gas Service employees about volunteer events, work projects, and recognize volunteers for their efforts in the community.

United Way
Kansas Gas Service employees support the communities in which they live through their individual contributions to United Way and other social and civic organizations.
