What are we doing to help keep costs down?

• We use financial tools to place a price-cap on a portion of our winter gas supply to cushion customers from the impact of higher natural gas prices that may otherwise occur.
• We acquire natural gas supply from diverse sources and purchase gas in the summer months, when prices are typically lower, and place the gas in storage for winter use.
• We have a reliable supply of natural gas under long-term contracts. We also use short-term contracts when it is cost effective.
