Natural Gas Liquids Gathering and Fractionation

The natural gas liquids gathering and fractionation segment gathers natural gas liquids in mixed, raw form from gas processing plants, primarily by pipeline, and delivers the liquids to our fractionators. Once the liquids are transported to the fractionators the liquids are further processed where liquids are separated into marketable products, including ethane/propane mix, propane, isobutane, normal butane and natural gasoline. The natural gas liquids products are stored and/or distributed to our customers, including petrochemical, heating and motor gasoline manufacturers.

Our fractionation and storage facilities are connected to the key natural gas liquids market centers in Conway, Kansas, and Mont Belvieu, Texas, by FERC-regulated interstate natural gas liquids pipelines, which are part of our Natural Gas Liquids Pipelines segment. The NGL Gathering and Fractionation segment consists of 2,570 miles of gathering pipelines, interests in four fractionators with capacity of approximately 400,000 barrels per day, one isomerization unit with capacity of 9,000 barrel per day and seven storage facilities with approximately 24.6 million barrels of capacity.
