Pierce Norton was named executive vice president, Natural Gas, for ONEOK Partners in July 2007. In this role, he is responsible for the partnership’s natural gas gathering and processing and pipelines businesses. Previously, Norton served as president of the gathering and processing division of the Partnership from April 2006.

He began his natural gas industry career when he joined Delhi Gas Pipeline in 1982. He later worked for American Oil and Gas and KN Energy, and was named Bear Paw Energy’s president in 2005. Bear Paw is a now a subsidiary of ONEOK Partners.

Norton is currently serving as a board member for the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America, the Texas Pipeline Association and the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States. He is a past board member of the North Dakota Petroleum Council.

An Alabama native, Norton earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama.
