Jim Kneale is president and chief operating officer of ONEOK and ONEOK Partners. Kneale also serves as a director of ONEOK Partners.

Kneale joined ONEOK in 1981 as vice president of accounting and then moved to Oklahoma Natural Gas as vice president of accounting in 1992. He served in various executive operating and finance positions until being named president of Oklahoma Natural Gas in 1997, holding that post until 1999 when he became chief financial officer of ONEOK.

He serves on the boards of directors of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa, the Tulsa Area United Way, the Tulsa Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and the Oklahoma Business Roundtable. He also serves on the board of directors of the American Gas Association and is a member of the UMB Bank Advisory Board for Oklahoma. He is a graduate of both Leadership Oklahoma and Leadership Tulsa, and a recipient of Leadership Tulsa’s Paragon Award.

A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Kneale graduated from high school in Amarillo, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting in 1973 from West Texas A&M in Canyon. He has completed advanced studies at Harvard University.
