Pierce Norton is president of ONEOK Distribution Companies, which includes Kansas Gas Service Company, Oklahoma Natural Gas Company and Texas Gas Service Company. He was most recently executive vice president.

He began his natural gas industry career in 1982 at Delhi Gas Pipeline. He later worked for American Oil and Gas and KN Energy, and was named Bear Paw Energy’s president in 2005. Bear Paw is now a subsidiary of ONEOK Partners.

Norton is a board member of the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America and the Texas Pipeline Association. He is a past board member of the North Dakota Petroleum Council and the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States.

An Alabama native, Norton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 1982 from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
