Customer First

Customer Complaint Procedures

In the event you are dissatisfied with the service you received from a Choice Contractor, as part of the program, the contractors have agreed to participate in the following steps designed to help address your concerns.

Submit your complaint in writing and include:

  • A copy of your quote, contract and any other pertinent information
  • Company name
  • The name of the person you tried to resolve your complaint with
  • A brief explanation of your complaint
  • How you would like the complaint resolved
  • Mail to the following address:
    Choice Contractor Program
    c/o Oklahoma Natural Gas
    P.O. Box 871
    Tulsa, OK 74102-0871

After receiving the information, a representative will evaluate your complaint.

A contractor services consultant will notify the contractor of the complaint. The contractor services consultant will work with you and the contractor in an attempt to reach a settlement that is fair to both parties.

If an agreement cannot be reached, the contractor services consultant will refer the matter to the Better Business Bureau and notify you and the contractor that the complaint is being referred.

After submission to the Better Business Bureau, the contractor services consultant will notify the Choice Contractor program's director of the action taken. The Better Business Bureau will process the issue according to its normal membership standards and policy. The Better Business Bureau will attempt to help both parties resolve the issue and will arrange for an arbitration if necessary. As with any dispute, you have the right to consult an attorney.

Please note: Choice Contractor suppliers are independent contractors and have no authority to enter into any obligations, written or implied, on behalf of Oklahoma Natural Gas. While the contractors have pledged to Oklahoma Natural Gas that they will maintain a high level of customer service and satisfaction, Oklahoma Natural Gas does not and cannot control the work of the contractors and does not warrant installations or service work performed by program contractors.
