Community Investments

ONEOK is a committed and active member in our communities with a dedicated Community Investments department to foster partnerships between our company, our employees and the community. Investing in communities where we have operations and where our employees live and work not only is the right thing to do – it’s also smart business. By contributing financially and through volunteerism, we help build stronger communities and create a better environment for our employees, customers and the general public.

Requests for support, both monetary and for volunteers, are accepted online.

First-time applicants, you must create an account login and password here. Select “new applicant” and set up an account. Then return to this webpage, review the Community Investments programs below and use the link to apply for the one that best fits the request for support.

For return applicants, access your account to review the status of your submitted request.

Primary focus areas for our community investments are arts and culture, community improvement, education, environmental, and health and human services. Priority consideration is given to educational programs and health and human services organizations, particularly those with programs helping people to become self-sufficient.

ONEOK provides one-time grants and multi-year pledges to support programs, projects and capital campaigns of charitable organizations. ONEOK also has grant programs that specifically support public schools and emergency responder organizations.

United Way

ONEOK organizes an annual campaign across the company to support the United Way. All employee, retiree and director pledges, and proceeds from fundraising events are matched dollar-for-dollar by ONEOK. The company goal is 100 percent acknowledgement of the campaign by employees. ONEOK employees are tremendously generous and continually exceed the national average for participation and contribution amount.

ONEOK encourages and supports employee volunteer efforts in the community. Volunteering is an important part of ONEOK’s culture and a valuable resource for charitable organizations. We are proud that our employees generously share their time and talents to benefit the community.

Volunteers With Energy

Our company volunteer program, Volunteers With Energy (VWE), was established in 2003 to address numerous requests from charitable organizations for volunteer manpower. Company-sponsored volunteer projects generally are one-time activities that offer employees, retirees and family members an opportunity to give back to their local community.

Volunteer Service Grants

Employees and retirees may earn grants for their charity of choice simply by recording the hours they volunteer for VWE company-sponsored projects and independent, personal volunteer activities. Once the qualifying thresholds are met, grants up to $500 are awarded annually per employee or retiree.
