ONEOK works hand in hand with the agriculture community to provide information and to encourage farmers to utilize the 811 system when they are planning on any type of soil work. Anything from building fences to cultivating fields to installing drain tiles. We strive to maintain a working relation with each farmer for their safety and the safety of others.
- Drain Tile Safety Coalition -- The Drain Tile Safety Coalition is a nonprofit coalition affiliated with the Pipeline Association for Public Awareness and is working to reduce the number of accidents resulting from drain tile installation on farms by sharing best practices and safety information.

Right-of-Way (ROW) Encroachments
A ROW agreement enables the pipeline to safely operate, inspect, repair, maintain or replace the pipeline. The ROW must always be kept free of buildings, shrubs, trees and other physical obstructions called encroachments. Landowners or residents should not plant trees or dig on or near the ROW without first making a One Call by dialing 811.
Encroachments on the pipeline ROW inhibit the ability to:
- Respond to a pipeline emergency.
- Eliminate third-party damage.
- Provide ROW surveillance.
- Perform routine maintenance.
- Perform required federal and state Inspections.
