: Fuel Delivery Denver Can Count On

Reliable fuel supply is critical to keeping one of the nation's busiest airports moving.

ONEOK recently placed into service our refined products pipeline expansion project connecting Mid-Continent and Gulf Coast supply to the Greater Denver area and Denver International Airport. The project adds 35,000 barrels per day of transportation capacity and strengthens fuel supply reliability for one of the nation’s busiest airports and the surrounding region.

The approximately $480 million project was announced in July 2024 and includes a 230-mile pipeline with both 10-inch and 16-inch segments originating in Scott City, Kansas. The project included pump station additions and was designed with future expansion opportunities in mind.

"The Denver Expansion project strengthens fuel supply reliability for the Denver region and further demonstrates ONEOK’s ability to deliver strategic growth that connects key supply regions with growing demand markets,” said Randy Lentz, executive vice president and chief operating officer of ONEOK. “This project reflects the expertise and dedication of ONEOK employees who deliver critical energy safely and reliably every day and create value for our stakeholders."

Delivering Through Disciplined Execution

For ONEOK, the Denver Expansion project represents an important milestone in the company's refined products strategy, demonstrating our ability to execute large-scale infrastructure investments that further strengthen its premier integrated system.

The system is designed with future growth opportunities in mind and can transport a variety of fuel products, including jet fuel, gasoline, diesel and renewable fuels. The additional capacity is fully contracted under long-term agreements.

With the completion of the Denver Expansion project, ONEOK has strengthened a critical fuel corridor and expanded capacity to meet the Denver region's growing energy needs.
